Discover the splendor of Rajasthan

A location that instils a sense of pride in its ancestry, heritage, and culture.

Despite the fact that Rajasthan is India's largest state in terms of land area, this is not the case. Not only does it lead the way in terms of its famous landmarks, but it also plays a significant role in promoting Indian tourism abroad. If you're a traveller who enjoys discovering new places while on the road, Rajasthan is a great place to visit.

Each of the beautiful or fascinating places like the lakes of Udaipur surrounded by the high range of Aravali mountains, prominent thar deserts, well-known national tiger reserves, forts, palaces or Mount Abu, the only hill station, has performed its role to draw the maximum crowds attention.

There are many reasons why visitors to Rajasthan will want to visit the area: its delicious food and centuries-old traditional folk dances; its more popular traditional clothes and jewellery; and its antique collection.

While we're on the subject of Rajasthan, the following are some things to be proud of:

1. Rajasthan has a rich cultural heritage that it has preserved to this day, making it an important part of India's cultural heritage. Landforms in the region reveal its artistic and cultural traditions, pilgrimage sites, and glimpses of village life. Festivals are held by people of various castes, religions, and tribes to celebrate their unique cultural and religious beliefs.

2. Possibly because of the brave kings who risked their lives in order to protect their lands from intruders, the name of Rajasthan (Land of Kings) became popular. The people of Rajasthan are truly appreciative of their contributions, and they should be proud of them.
The forts, palaces, and temples in the city of Jaisalmer tell the storey of the brave warriors who fought and died for their country, and their legacy lives on today.

3. In the field of arts and crafts, Rajasthan has made a name for itself around the world. There is no doubt that each of these crafts has had an enormous impact and contributed to the economic growth of the country that should be acknowledged.

4. In Rajasthan, Ghoomar and Kalbeliya are two of the most well-known examples of Rajasthani folk music and dance, both of which have gained international acclaim. Traditional Rajasthani folk music includes Kathputli (puppet show), Chang, Teratali, Ghindar, Tejaji, etc. that truly represents the culture of the state.

5. What you need to know – More specifically, Rajasthan has made a significant contribution to Prime Minister Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan by installing the greatest number of toilets possible in rural areas. Talking more about Rajasthan. Rajasthan has also made significant contributions to the smart city plan, resulting in Jaipur and Udaipur, two of its most well-known cities, being listed among India's top 20 smart cities.

When it comes to India's largest solar power plant, Gujarat isn't even close. A recent report from the Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy shows that Rajasthan has surpassed all other Indian states in the production of solar power. All over India, Rajasthan ranks as the state with the most marbles per capita.

6. Not only is the land famous for its history, but it is also the birthplace of a number of well-known individuals. They haven't just made Rajasthan proud of them; they've also helped raise the pride of the nation as a whole. They include Pratibha Patil, Lakshmi Narayan Mittal, Jagjit Singh, Shreya Ghoshal, Irfan Khan, Sakshi Tanwar, and many others who have demonstrated their talent through their work.

7. To see these well-known forts, palaces and sculptures in their original splendour brought visitors from around the world. For example, the Kumbhalgarh fortification, which was declared to be second in size only to China's Great Wall of China, is a great example of the great architectural work that was done during the Mughal period.

8. The Rajasthani people – That being said, I can confidently say that the people of Rajasthan are hospitable and kind and that you will never leave their homes hungry because of their generosity. We have many pyaus, despite the fact that some parts of our land are water-scarce, to ensure that we can provide visitors with water in the best way possible.
It's a blend of colours, festivals, history, and brotherhood that characterises Rajasthan in general. When you're referred to as a RAJASTHANI, you'll always feel proud.
