By Air: The nearest airport to Wayanad is Karipur International Airport in Kozhikode. You can fly to Kozhikode; many flights operate from major cities throughout the country as well as the Middle East.

By Train: The nearest railway station is 110 kilometres away in Kozhikode. You can take the train to Kozhikode and then drive to Wayanad. There are several buses that run from Kozhikode bus station to Wayanad.

By Road: Wayanad has a well-developed road network that connects it to the adjacent cities. There are numerous buses that connect Wayanad to Bangalore, Trivandrum, Mangalore, and Kochi.

Day 1   Arrival at Wayanad | Explore the Unexplored in this bea

  • Arrive at the pre-arranged location in Bangalore, where a representative will pick you up and assist you in getting transferred to Wayanad.

  • Then you'll go to Pookat Lake, which is nestled in the wooded hills of Wayanad.

  • During the journey, you will ascend the Ambukuthi Hill, and then the Ambalavayal town will take you to the famed Edakkal caves, where you will see popular etchings dating back at least 7000 years.
  • These prehistoric cave paintings portray prehistoric tribal chieftains, elephants, queens, and tools.
  • Following your exploration of the caves, you will visit the stunning Soochipara Waterfalls or the Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary.

Day 4   Pre-trip Banasura Dam and Kuruva Island Visit | Return

  • Then you'll go to the Banasura Sagar Dam, India's largest earthen dam and Asia's second largest of its kind.
  • Then you'll go to Kuruva Island, which is a series of three highly forested uninhabited islands formed by the Kabini River's delta.
  • Walk about the green island for a bit, viewing some unique kinds of flora and animals, before beginning your journey back to Bangalore.

  • If cancellations are made 15 to 30 days prior to the date of travel, a cancellation fee of 50.0 percent of the total tour cost will be charged.
  • If a cancellation is made between 0 and 15 days prior to the date of travel, a cancellation fee of 100.0 percent of the total tour cost will be charged.
